Terms of Service
Last updated: July 6, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Airport Hubs ("the Service", "we", "us"), a community platform for pilots, aircraft owners, flight instructors, students, aircraft mechanics, fixed-base operators (FBOs), and Part 135 operators. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Not a Source of Official Aeronautical Information
Airport Hubs is a community bulletin board and marketplace. It is not affiliated with the FAA, NOAA, or any government agency, and it is not a substitute for official flight planning, weather briefings, NOTAMs, or airworthiness determinations. Weather data (METAR/TAF) and traffic data (ADS-B) shown on the Service are provided for situational awareness only and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Always consult official FAA and NOAA sources before any flight.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Business accounts (FBO, Flight School) may be subject to manual review before their storefront becomes publicly visible.
4. User-Generated Content
Bulletin board posts, marketplace listings, aircraft profiles, reviews, and messages are created by users, not by Airport Hubs. We do not verify the accuracy of certifications, flight hours, aircraft condition, pricing, or any other user-submitted claim. You are solely responsible for the content you post and for verifying the credentials, identity, and intentions of anyone you interact with through the Service.
You agree not to post content that is:
- False, misleading, or fraudulent (including fabricated certifications or flight hours)
- Illegal, harassing, discriminatory, or defamatory
- In violation of another person's intellectual property or privacy rights
- Spam, unsolicited advertising outside the Marketplace, or malware
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion, without notice.
5. Contact Relay & Verification Badges
When you contact another user through the Service (e.g., about a marketplace listing, a safety pilot request, or a pilot profile), your message is relayed by email directly to that user's registered address — we do not store the message content, and neither party's email address is shared with the other unless they chose to include it themselves. Airport Hubs is not responsible for verifying the identity, background, licensing status, insurance, airworthiness claims, or trustworthiness of anyone you contact or are contacted by through this feature. You are solely responsible for exercising your own judgment and caution before responding to, meeting, or transacting with anyone you connect with through the Service.
"✓ Verified" badges have a narrow, specific meaning and are nota general trustworthiness guarantee: a "Verified Pilot" badge means the user's display name matched an active FAA Airmen Certificate record at the time they completed verification; a "Verified Owner (FAA Registry)" badge means a claimed aircraft owner's name matched the FAA aircraft registry for that tail number at the time of the check. Neither badge confirms current certificate standing, insurance, aircraft airworthiness, business legitimacy, or good conduct, and business/FBO/flight-school profiles may be self-reported and not independently confirmed by us. Always independently verify anyone you plan to fly with, rent from, hire, or pay before doing so.
6. Safety Pilot Matching, Rentals & Marketplace
Airport Hubs facilitates introductions between users (e.g., safety pilot requests, aircraft rentals, time-sharing, instruction, and maintenance services). We are not a party to any agreement, flight, rental, or transaction between users. Any arrangement — including cost-sharing under 14 CFR § 91.109, aircraft rental agreements, or service contracts — is solely between the users involved. You are responsible for confirming currency, insurance, aircraft airworthiness, and compliance with all applicable regulations before flying with or renting from anyone you meet through the Service.
7. No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY WEATHER, TRAFFIC, FUEL PRICE, OR USER-SUBMITTED DATA IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIRPORT HUBS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES RESULTING FROM FLIGHTS, RENTALS, TRANSACTIONS, OR INTERACTIONS ARRANGED THROUGH THE SERVICE. AVIATION CARRIES INHERENT RISK; YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN FLIGHT AND SAFETY DECISIONS.
9. Subscriptions, Donations & Payments
Certain premium features for FBOs and flight schools may be offered on a paid subscription basis via our payment processor (Stripe). Core community features — bulletin boards, safety pilot matching, marketplace, aircraft garage, hour planner, fuel prices, and reviews — remain free for all users. Subscription fees, where applicable, are described at the time of purchase and are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.
We also accept optional, voluntary donations to help offset hosting and development costs. Donations do not unlock any paid feature or create any obligation on our part, and are non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion. All payments (subscriptions and donations) are processed by Stripe; we never store your card details on our own servers. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us through the support page and we will review refund requests in good faith.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention and deletion.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact details listed on your account's support page.
